*Grace Bosco Mwakinga *
Grace Bosco Mwakinga is a Tanzanian Chemical and Process Engineer, entrepreneur, researcher, and sustainability innovator committed to developing African-led solutions to global challenges in climate change, agriculture, food systems, and sustainable manufacturing.
She is the Co-Founder of SAB BIOMANUFACTURES, a biotechnology company transforming underutilized biological resources into high-value, sustainable products. Her work combines chemical and process engineering, biotechnology, and circular economy principles to develop practical solutions for agriculture and industry.
Grace participated in the Nasdaq Milestone Makers program and was honored on the Nasdaq Times Square Billboard in New York City in recognition of her entrepreneurial journey and achievements.
She is also an African STARS Fellow at Stellenbosch University, supported by the Mastercard Foundation, and has participated in international innovation, entrepreneurship, climate, and leadership programmes supported by organizations including UNDP, Halcyon, the Tony Elumelu Foundation, and WomHub Africa.
Through her work, Grace has gained experience in biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, seaweed valorisation, product development, research, entrepreneurship, and climate innovation. She is passionate about youth leadership, women in STEM, scientific innovation, and building scalable African solutions that create economic, social, and environmental impact.
