BIOGRAPHY
CEng. Anna Patrick is a Consultant Electrical Engineer and Managing Director at ANAN Consulting Engineers Ltd, with over 15 years of experience in the energy and engineering sector. She holds a BSc in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) by the Association of Energy Engineers and an ISO 9001 Junior Auditor.
Her career spans electrical system design, project engineering and management, tendering, BOQs, cost estimation, site supervision, HT line design, installation and maintenance. She has worked with Howard Humphrey Consulting Engineers Ltd, Power Magic Electrical and Supply Ltd, and Mercados Aries International, where she supervised REA rural electrification projects involving MV/LV lines, distribution transformers and customer connections across Kagera, Mwanza, Geita and Shinyanga.
At ANAN Consulting Engineers Ltd, Anna leads engineering, energy audit and energy management projects. Her recent assignments include energy audits, training energy regulators across East Africa, renewable energy feasibility studies, productive use of electricity (PUE), and promotion of energy efficiency in rural areas across several regions of Tanzania.
She is a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer (ERB No. 3387), Registered Consulting Electrical Engineer (ERB No. 452), CEM (AEE ID No. 101019), and a member of the Institution of Engineers Tanzania–Women Chapter.
Key Achievement: 2nd Runner-Up, Women Consulting Engineer of the Year – Mama Mhandisi Awards 2024.
Community Engagement: Actively promotes STEM education and gender balance in engineering through school visits, workshops, graduate mentorship and advocacy for women in STEM.
