PROFESSION & EDUCATION
Eng. Ester Christopher is a Registered Professional Engineer and ICT & Telecommunications specialist with over 15 years of industry experience. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Meritech Limited, a Class One ICT and Security Systems Construction Company. She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a BSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam
LEADERSHIP
Beyond her professional practice, Eng. Ester is an active engineering leader and advocate for women and young professionals in STEM.
WORK
She serves as the Executive Secretary of the Tanzania Women Contractors Association (TWCA) and is part of the Secretariat of the Federation of African Engineering Organisations (FAEO). She has also held leadership positions within the Institution of Engineers Tanzania (IET) and its Women Chapter.
Her professional interests and leadership focus on engineering innovation, digital transformation, mentorship, women’s advancement in engineering, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development across Africa.
