Witness Marandu is a Chemical and Process Engineer with professional experience in laboratory engineering, engineering project coordination and analytical testing. She currently serves as a Laboratory Engineer at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), College of Engineering and Technology (CoET).
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering and a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management, combining technical engineering expertise with competencies in project coordination, planning, implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
Actively involved in engineering professional development, research, innovation, and stakeholder engagement. Through initiatives such as TAWECE and IET-related activities, she promotes collaboration among professionals, academia, and industry, while empowering young engineers and supporting greater participation of women in engineering and Tanzania’s engineering and industrial development.
