PROFESSION
Eng. Jamila Kibugila is a Civil and Structural Engineer with over 15 years of experience in structural design, construction supervision, and technical consultancy across Tanzania’s building and infrastructure sector.
EDUCATION & MEMBERSHIP
She holds a BSc in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam and is registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Professional Engineer and Consulting Engineer in Civil and Structural Engineering (CE553). She is also a member of the Institution of Engineers Tanzania (IET – M1602) and serves as Managing Director of Jarabu Deal Limited.
WORK
Her extensive portfolio includes reinforced concrete and steel structures for residential, commercial, institutional, and healthcare developments, with notable projects including DIT Mwanza Campus, Ministry of Water Headquarters in Dodoma, CCBRT, International School of Tanganyika, BRT Phase 1, and UNICEF-supported hospitals in Puntland, Somalia.
Her expertise encompasses structural analysis and design, reinforcement detailing, technical inspection, construction supervision, and project coordination, with a strong commitment to safety, constructability, durability, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
